Light from Shadow

For this body of work, I wanted to further explore night photography and light painting, since I had little experience prior. The subject matter is images of scenes lit up outside with a single light with a 25 to 30 second exposure.  I had little night photography experience prior to doing this work and wanted to explore it  further. Night photography is still a new topic to me and I like to experiment in this area of photography and see what my results are. My main influence for this body would be Harold Ross. I want people to think after seeing this work is to try something that you are unfamiliar with and try your hand with it. And it might turn out to be something you like and would like to continue working with. For me it was shooting at night and experimenting with how much light to cover and the amount of time for the light to be on a subject.
